Part rehearsal, part gig, part rock flick, The Winston Avenue Movie was The Cadillac Babies in their natural environment: on stage, at home and driving real fast.
Shot on location at Winston Avenue by long-time band associate Nick Slob, the movie opens with the only remaining footage of the Babies on BTV’s The Tube, blistering through their standard set opener, Repo Man.
The action switches indoors to the band’s pad for Brand New Cadillac – and the only remaining footage of the fabulous High School Harlots and the self-styled manager Trigger Raine. You can almost smell the condensation running down the walls…
